I did a mini session with this adorable little baby today. He is so sweet. I can't wait to get some pictures soon with his big brothers too!

On to the smash cake!

Hannah was getting tired of playing model in the gardens, so we headed back to her house to do some smash cake pictures. All crankiness was forgotten when that cupcake came out! She was so adorable. :-) First she tasted, liked it, and then dug in. She did offer some to her mom; but seemed pretty happy when she was told it was all for her. She ate the entire cupcake (and that was one BIG cupcake). Then she picked up the plate and licked it. Then she tried to stand up; but kept slipping in the butter cream. I am so glad that I was there to capture this cuteness!

What an adorable little birthday girl!

I had the pleasure of photographing this adorable little girl for her 1 year pictures. We found some great lighting at one of my favorite locations and got a lot of great pictures. I'm going to do Hannah's sneak peek in 2 parts - today's sneak peak is from the gardens. I'm still working on her smash cake sneak peak. That should be coming in the next few days. I must say that I think some of these pictures might be my all time favorites. :-)

A wonderful family!

Today I got the chance to get newborn pictures of one of the cutest little babies I have ever seen. McLean is 3 weeks old and he is just so cute! These are the first three pictures I have opened from the session and I couldn't resist going ahead and posting them, I'm sure I'll post a few more over the next few days. Thank you for letting me spend some time with you today!

sun flare, sun flare and more sun flare

We were at the beach (well, the Chesapeake Bay) for the past week+. I am just starting to go through the pictures; but here are some of my favorites with sun flare. I'm sure I'll be posting more from our trip as I make it through them. I hope that everyone is having a wonderful summer!

I especially thought this one was appropriate - I took it on the evening of July 3. The red, white and blue sun flare seemed so appropriate for the holiday weekend!
